Marcy Rauer Wagman is a member of the Music Business faculty at Drexel
University in Philadelphia. The title of her presentation will be "Independents

Entertainment); Carolyn Cuff and Christian Johnson (Editor and Publisher of

A program to
celebrate the life and dream of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. George
Starke, former Washington Redskin and founder of the Excel Institute will
discuss rebuilding the lives of youth at risk; a performance by the Duke
Ellington School of the Arts Dance Ensemble; and an original musical performance
on Dr. King and nonviolence by the Children's Choir of the Episcopal Diocese of
Washington, directed by Sonya Sutton. Additionally, Stewart Burns, former editor
of the Martin Luther King Jr. Papers, developer of the HBO film Boycott, and
author of the forthcoming book To The Mountaintop, will make a special guest
appearance to give reflections on his new book during his national book tour.
